Damage Restoration Before & After in Woodland Hills, CA

Anyone can tell you they do great work. Seeing it is different. The photos below are the kind of jobs we handle in Woodland Hills, from slab leaks under Valley Circle homes to attic mold creeping through Calabasas-adjacent hillsides. Before, the house is losing the fight. After, the drying logs, moisture readings, and written scope tell the same story the photos do: it was done right. That’s what the 365-Day Done Right Promise is for.

Water Damage Restoration: Hallway and Two Bedrooms, South of Ventura Blvd

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Before: water from a failed supply line wicked through 40 linear feet of drywall.
BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
After: extraction, psychrometric drying, and repair backed by the 365-Day Done Right Promise.

A braided supply line under a guest bath sink let go while the homeowner was at work. By the time anyone got home, water had traveled through the hallway and into two bedrooms’ closets. We extracted just over 60 gallons, pulled baseboards, and set Dri-Eaz and Phoenix air movers with a desiccant dehumidifier to dry the wall cavities. The after photos show the same hallway rebuilt, painted, and documented for the insurance claim.

Fire Damage Restoration: Kitchen Fire with Smoke Throughout the First Floor

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Before: grease fire damage to cabinets, range hood, and ceiling; smoke traveled through the open floor plan.
Technician performing professional water damage restoration on residential flooring
After: structural repairs, odor treatment, and content cleaning completed to scope.

A stove fire in a Woodland Hills kitchen put soot on every surface in the open-plan first floor. The fire itself stayed contained, but smoke damaged far more than the cooktop. We cleaned and sealed the framing, treated the adjacent rooms for smoke odor, and rebuilt the damaged cabinet runs. The written scope of loss covered everything before we started, so the adjuster had one document from day one.

Mold Remediation: Attic Mold from Bathroom Exhaust Venting into the Attic

Water damage restoration professional using professional water extraction equipment on concrete floor
Before: mold across roof sheathing after a bathroom exhaust fan was vented directly into the attic for years.
Water damage restoration professional using industrial extraction equipment on wet flooring
After: containment, remediation, and corrected venting to prevent recurrence.

We see this exact problem a lot in Woodland Hills: a bathroom fan vented into the attic instead of through the roof. Warm, moist air hits the cool sheathing and mold follows. Our crew set containment, removed the affected insulation, and treated the sheathing. The after photo shows the same attic with the fan ducted properly and the space ready for new insulation.

Water Damage Restoration: Second-Floor Laundry Overflow onto First-Floor Ceiling

Technician using fire damage restoration equipment in a smoke-damaged hallway
Before: dining room ceiling below a second-floor laundry closet after an overflow.
Two contractors boarding up a window at a fire damage restoration site
After: ceiling dried, repaired, and painted with insurance documentation complete.

The homeowner started a load, left for a school pickup, and came home to water running through the dining room light fixture. Extraction, structural drying with Injectidry for the ceiling cavity, and a full drywall repair followed. The after photo shows the ceiling restored with matching crown molding, and the drying log from our equipment shows exactly when the materials hit target moisture content.

Fire Damage Restoration: Electrical Fire in Attached Garage with Partial Exterior Damage

Technician in protective suit cleaning soot from wall after fire damage
Before: electrical fire in the garage wall spread to a section of exterior siding.
Technician in hazmat suit performing professional mold remediation on wall studs
After: framing repairs, structural drying where suppression water traveled, and full rebuild to the written scope.

An electrical fault inside the garage wall ignited framing and pushed smoke through the shared wall into the house. The fire was put out quickly, but the suppression water created a second problem in the slab. We extracted, dried with Phoenix and B-Air equipment, then rebuilt the damaged wall and siding. Every step was documented and formatted to support the claim, including photos of the framing before it was closed up.

Mold Remediation: Under-Sink Cabinet Mold from a Slow, Hidden Leak

Technician performing professional mold air quality testing in a contaminated room
Before: hidden leak at the p-trap caused mold inside the vanity cabinet.
Professional performing a mold inspection and air quality test
After: remediation complete with written clearance documentation.

The homeowner noticed a musty smell in the hall bath but couldn’t find water anywhere. The leak was behind the vanity, slow enough to never reach the floor but wet enough to grow mold inside the cabinet. We contained the area, removed the affected cabinet interior, and treated the framing behind it. The after photo shows the same vanity rebuilt and sealed, with the plumbing corrected.
